Job summary

Dexter is seeking an HR Manager to serve as the primary HR Business Partner for multiple branch and distribution locations. You will guide workforce planning, employee relations, and leadership coaching to strengthen organizational capability while ensuring compliant HR programs.

You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, operations leaders, and Sr. HR partners to attract talent, onboard effectively, and drive employee engagement and development across the field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Industrial Relations, or related field preferred; equivalent HR experience considered.
• 5+ years of HR experience required; 5-10 years in distribution/industrial/automotive HR preferred.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned branch and distribution locations, guiding workforce planning and employee relations.
• Partner with leadership, Talent Acquisition, and staffing to attract and retain talent.
• Oversee onboarding to ensure strong integration and engagement, productivity, and retention.
• Lead investigations, policy interpretation, and performance management with fair, compliant practices.
• Coach leaders on recruiting, onboarding, performance, development, succession, and engagement.
