Trane Technologies, a world leader in sustainable climate solutions, is seeking an HR Business Partner for a focused factory team. You will guide HR strategies, workforce planning, and engagement, partnering with management to deliver talent initiatives and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, a manufacturing background, and the ability to drive data-driven decisions. Competitive benefits and a day-one health program are provided, with on-site work in Grand Rapids, MI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years’ experience in Human Resources.
Experience in a manufacturing operations environment preferred.
Experience handling complex personnel investigations.
Strong analytical skills to analyze HR metrics for business goals.
Proficient with MS Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with PeopleSoft, UKG Time and Attendance, Tableau, Visier.

Responsibilities

Serve as HR Strategic Business Partner guiding HR strategies for the focused factory team.
Develop and execute HR plans, processes, policies and programs aligned with business objectives.
Provide guidance on talent management and onboarding for the focused factory leadership.
Partner with talent acquisition for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding; onboard new hires.
Analyze HR data and report metrics to drive continuous improvement and decision making.
Support employee engagement, communications and compliance training.
