Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HR Generalist/Recruiter to deliver core HR services for local employees and managers. You will own hourly recruiting for Grand Rapids facilities, partnering with hiring leaders to develop strategies, manage the hiring process, and ensure a positive candidate experience.

You will also support employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and compliance with employment law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, related area, or minimum of 3 years related experience.
• Strong candidate assessment and in-person/virtual interviewing skills required, including ability to evaluate organization fit and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute full life cycle recruiting from candidate attraction through onboarding. Partner with HR and hiring leaders to develop recruitment strategies and communicate throughout the hiring process.
• Source diverse internal and external candidates through referrals, social media, networking, and niche resources.
• Conduct phone screens and assessments, recommend viable candidates to hiring managers, lead interview feedback sessions.
• Build talent communities and candidate pipelines.
• Support HR strategies and programs that align with business goals and compliance with policies.
• Collaborate on onboarding, engagement, retention, and development initiatives.
