Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an HR Generalist/Recruiter to deliver local HR services for our Grand Rapids manufacturing facilities. You will own hourly recruiting, build partnerships with hiring leaders, and ensure a positive candidate experience while enforcing company policies and labor compliance.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle recruiting, candidate sourcing, interviews, onboarding, employee relations, and HR data analysis.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or equivalent experience (3+ years).
Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
Experience in a plant environment preferred.
Broad HR Generalist capabilities including employee relations and labor/compliance knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

Execute full lifecycle recruiting from attraction through onboarding with HR partners.
Source diverse candidates via referrals, social media, networking and niche resources.
Conduct phone screens and assessments; present viable candidates to hiring managers.
Build and maintain talent pipelines and candidate communities.
Provide HR counsel to management and participate in workforce planning and onboarding.
Analyze HR data for reporting and decision making; support engagement and retention initiatives.
