Job summary

AAA Hoosier Motor Club seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support onsite in Indianapolis, IN. You will work with leaders across fleet, call center, and service center locations to improve employee experience while strengthening compliance and workforce planning.

You will align HR initiatives with business objectives, coach leaders, and drive talent strategies while partnering on onboarding, succession planning, and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience with employee relations and leadership support.
• Experience supporting multi-site, service-based environments.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Willingness to travel regularly to local service locations.
• Ability to communicate benefits plans and policies clearly.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives across locations.
• Use data trends to inform decisions and improve operational effectiveness.
• Support change management and business transformations.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations investigations and resolution.
• Coach leaders on performance management and HR best practices.
• Support recruiting and onboarding with HR Generalist/Recruiter partners.
• Collaborate on succession planning, employee development, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Lead workers’ comp, OSHA reporting, ADA accommodations, and FMLA leave management.
• Assist compensation planning and market alignment; coordinate payroll/benefits questions.
