Job summary

Clearbrook Holdings Inc. seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to align talent with business strategy and support US operations.

This in-office role partners with leaders to implement HR programs, manage staffing and onboarding, and address employee relations with a focus on confidentiality and compliance. You will work closely with Centers of Expertise and Shared Services to deliver effective HR partnership and drive organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive HR experience with a foundation of technical knowledge in key HR disciplines.
• Strong business acumen, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge, understanding of, and passion about US employment law.
• Strengths in the area of written and verbal communication.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to build credibility and trust with leaders.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Successful traits to work in a fast-paced environment that is evolving constantly.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Business Partnership and support execution of HR programs and services.
• Ensure staffing needs are met in a timely and high-quality manner and onboard new employees.
• Manage all employee relations issues within the business.
• Ensure effective handling of HR administration needs for all employees.
• Facilitate periodic training sessions and update Employee Handbook with state supplements.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness with leadership.
• Provide guidance to managers on people management and organizational issues.
• Support HR initiatives related to performance management, talent planning, and compensation reviews.
