Job summary

Baystate Health is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to provide a full range of HR services for a designated business unit. You will collaborate with division management and educate managers on HR issues to ensure fair, equitable treatment and a productive work environment.

Reporting to a Director or Sr. HR Business Partner, you will partner to align HR practices with business objectives and Baystate values, while supporting strategy and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of HR experience demonstrating knowledge of all functional areas of Human Resources.
• Basic understanding of HR functions, practices, policies, employment law and regulations.
• Bachelors Degree (Required).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the selection of candidates for new and vacant positions with the Recruitment Consultant for the division being served and the management of that division.
• Support HR programs that promote good employee relations and improve the quality of employee work life.
• Assess departmental compensation issues with Division Management and ensure equity and that goals are met.
• Link performance planning to the strategies of the business unit and oversee appraisals.
• Identify training and staff development needs and coordinate specialists to meet them.
• Train and coach managers in policy administration and advise on actions.
• Provide information on applicable laws and policies; ensure compliance with EEO/AAP and Baystate goals.
• Provide guidance on HR transactions and record keeping.
