Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks an experienced Employee Relations professional to provide hands-on and strategic input on employee relations, coaching, and career development, partnering with hiring managers. The role includes interpreting policies and collective bargaining agreements, diagnosing organizational effectiveness, and driving talent initiatives to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years direct Employee Relations experience.
• 8 years direct HR Generalist or other HR functional experience.
• Knowledge of state employment laws, collective bargaining, and HR compliance reporting such as Aff'd Action, EEO, and Vet-100.
• Knowledge of DEI in HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Resolve employee relations issues and administer disciplinary actions between departments/divisions.
• Assist with voluntary and involuntary terminations; conduct exit interviews and manage onboarding to offboarding.
• Collect and analyze HR data to drive policy and process improvements.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and deliver training on HR topics for leaders.
• Serve as liaison between HR and System business units.
• Lead strategic HR initiatives in engagement, DEI, career development, and retention of high performers.
• Prepare internal communications regarding HR functions.
• Provide cross-functional support in benefits, recruitment, and compensation.
• Other related duties as assigned.
