Job summary

The City of Rocklin seeks an experienced human resources professional to join its HR Division as Management Analyst. The role emphasizes recruitment and selection, classification/compensation, performance management, labor relations, benefits administration, and training, advising departments and supporting data-driven HR decisions.

Responsibilities include salary surveys, data analysis, and coordinating employee development while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, finance, human resources, economics, or a closely related field.
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible professional experience performing public administration, finance, housing, or human resources functions.
• OR One (1) year of experience at a level equivalent to the City's class of Associate Management Analyst or Administrative Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional human resources consultation, support, and services to City departments in recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, performance management and discipline, labor relations, workers' compensation, benefits administration, medical leaves, disability administration, and training.
• Researches, analyzes, and evaluates information regarding selection procedures, recruitment methods, EEO, classification, compensation, benefits administration, and HR practices.
• Plans and conducts recruitment and outreach activities; reviews and prepares job flyers; develops outreach and advertising campaigns; conducts interview panels.
