Qualifications

• Experience performing a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, classification, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration.
• Experience providing technical guidance, consultation, and recommendations to employees, supervisors, managers, and HR liaisons regarding HR policies and best practices.
• Experience interpreting, applying, and communicating HR policies, procedures, and employment laws and regulations.
• Experience researching complex HR issues, analyzing personnel data, identifying trends, and developing written reports and recommendations.
• Experience developing and delivering training and presentations for employees and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to exchange information, coordinate assignments, finalize tasks, and resolve complex matters.
• Collaborate with upper management, supervisors, and employees in other County departments to inform policies and procedures.
• Conduct research and provide guidance and information upon request.
• Participate in recruitment events, new employee training, and other assigned training activities.
• Complete, analyze and validate personnel actions and ensure compliance with standards.
