Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an HR Advisor to join a high-impact Employee Relations team. You will partner with leaders to navigate complex situations, guide fair decisions, and strengthen workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

You will manage a broad range of employee relations matters, from performance management and attendance to workplace conduct concerns, delivering practical guidance to teams and leaders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience in employee relations or as an HR Generalist or related HR position
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field

Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultation to team leaders and team members on performance management, misconduct, workplace concerns, and employee experience matters
• Coach team leaders to build capability, drive accountability, and handle situations with consistency and confidence
• Research, assess, and resolve complex employee relations issues, offering clear, well-reasoned recommendations
• Ensure alignment with company policies, practices, and employment legislation while balancing risk and business outcomes
• Partner with key stakeholders to deliver consistent, compliant, and fair outcomes
• Own cases end to end with a focus on timely resolution, strong documentation, and high-quality decision-making

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher in HR-related field
