Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Hotel Per La in downtown Los Angeles to uphold a safe, clean guest experience and lead the housekeeping team. You will set expectations, train staff, and ensure inspections meet standards.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching, assigning tasks, managing supplies, handling guest requests, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. A collaborative HEI environment supports growth.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to move throughout building and assist staff as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff with training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train and manage performance evaluations.
• Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign tasks and review special requests to ensure smooth operation.
• Distribute supplies and control inventory while managing expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to maintain satisfaction.
• Log items in Lost and Found and respond to inquiries.
• Implement emergency procedures and ensure safety compliance.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available for work.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
