Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a strategic sourcing professional to develop category strategies, support supplier negotiations, and drive value for healthcare clients. You will partner with clinicians, supply chain leaders and analysts to identify opportunities that improve outcomes and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, supply chain, or related fields.
• Experience supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, or category management activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies and support sourcing initiatives for assigned product and service categories.
• Conduct category, market, supplier, utilization, and spend analyses to support recommendations.
• Assist in developing RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and sourcing event deliverables.
• Coordinate supplier negotiations, contract development, and implementation planning.
• Provide insights to stakeholders and support achievement of performance objectives.
