Job summary

Vizient is seeking a seasoned sourcing and category management professional to develop and execute category strategies for complex product and service categories. You will collaborate with clinicians, value analysis leaders, and suppliers to drive measurable value and service improvements.

The role requires deep experience in strategic sourcing, contracting, and analytics within healthcare operations, with a hybrid office model across multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or related fields.
• Experience in healthcare operations or hospital supply chains.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for analysis and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for assigned product and service categories.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contracting activities.
• Perform market, spend, and supplier analyses to support sourcing recommendations.
• Collaborate with clinicians, value analysis teams, and procurement stakeholders.
• Support AI-enabled insights and performance improvements.
• Ensure alignment with client goals and delivery of measurable value.
