Job summary

Valora Medical Group is seeking a Controller to lead the Finance Department, partnering with C-level executives to ensure efficient processes and robust financial controls. The role requires handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting and prioritizing initiatives to support growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee general ledger, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting, while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA certification highly preferred.
• Experience with healthcare finance is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and direct general ledger accounting including payroll and AP.
• Ensure invoices, expense reports and vendor payments are accurate.
• Manage bi-weekly payroll and potential off-cycle payrolls.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Provide analysis to assist Executive Team in planning.
• Develop cost-effective strategies and revenue opportunities.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance across regulatory laws.
