Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead enterprise-wide compensation initiatives, market pricing analyses, and the standardization of pay practices across the health system. This role partners with HR, operations, and executive leadership to ensure equitable, competitive, and compliant compensation programs.

Responsibilities include developing market strategies, conducting sophisticated analyses, and driving job architecture and job descriptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field; four years of compensation experience required.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with ability to build analyses and models; strong knowledge of compensation theory and laws.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills; ability to partner with leaders across a multi-site system.

Responsibilities

• Leads complex market pricing analyses and compensation studies to support compensation philosophy and market competitiveness.
• Develops, evaluates, and recommends compensation programs, salary structures, and standardized pay practices.
• Manages enterprise-wide compensation initiatives including market reviews, pay practice standardization, and budgeting.
• Conducts job and market analyses to evaluate internal equity and external alignment, advising on pay decisions.
• Standardizes job descriptions, documentation, and architecture across the health system; partners with HR and executives.
• Provides expert guidance on compensation strategy, job evaluation, and policy interpretation; ensures policy compliance.
