Allegheny Health Network is seeking a finance/analytics professional to support a broad range of financial, operational, and clinical performance analyses. The role partners with hospital and physician leaders to quantify key drivers and explain trends, while mentoring junior analysts on the team.

The candidate will leverage GL data, patient accounts, and procedure-level detail to inform business decisions and present executive-ready insights.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of related experience
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to analyze varied data sets
• Ability to work with large quantities of detailed data and extract strategic insights
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across the organization
• Self-starter who drives progress with minimal supervision

Aufgaben

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and/or profitability to explain financial results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses for business trends or leadership requests.
• Analyzes variances relative to budget, forecast, or benchmarks to identify opportunities.
• Incorporates operational/clinical data to provide holistic insights.
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of patient, mix, or payor shifts.
• Creates executive summaries with key findings and recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Ausbildung

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field OR 6 years of related and progressive experience
