Job summary

Planet Group seeks a Health Benefits Program Manager to lead comprehensive employee benefit programs across multiple sites, including Paramus, NJ and Boston. You will oversee design, implementation, and harmonization of benefits for acquisitions, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective vendor partnerships.

The role requires extensive experience in health and welfare benefits, Workday HRIS expertise, and strong project management, negotiation, and communication skills to drive cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required; graduate degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience with health and welfare benefit programs for large organizations (10,000+ employees).
• 2+ years supporting mergers and acquisitions activities.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Workday experience required.
• Experience administering health and welfare, leave of absence, and wellbeing plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver health and welfare programs for employees.
• Lead benefits integration for acquired companies.
• Ensure compliance for retirement plans and regulatory reporting (ACA, Form 5500, SPDs).
• Communicate and market benefits to improve engagement and retention.
• Coordinate with HR, HRIS, and vendors to resolve day-to-day matters and corrections.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and maintain programs.
