Job summary

PAGNY, a large physician group in New York, is seeking a Benefits Manager in the Administration department. The role oversees daily benefits operations, ensures compliance with ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA, and coordinates annual enrollment while partnering with brokers and vendors in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will supervise a small Benefits Team, manage HRIS data, and generate utilization and expenditure reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years in benefits administration with 1-2 years in supervisory role.
• CEBS or SHRM-CP certification preferred; strong HRIS and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily administration of benefit programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, FMLA, paid family leave, FSA, retirement).
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and communication strategies, plus system configuration.
• Support leave administration (FMLA, short/long-term disability, parental leave) and resolve complex claims with carriers.
• Act as liaison between brokers, vendors, and employees and monitor SLAs and data integrity.
