Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Strategic Business Development Lead in California, offering a $100,000–$130,000 salary and hybrid work flexibility. The role focuses on shaping growth strategy, evaluating new services, and building strategic partnerships across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Development.

You will own projects end-to-end and mentor a developing Business Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, contract management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing employees, projects, or cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience evaluating new markets, partnerships, clients, or business opportunities.
• Experience developing implementation plans, scalable processes, and operational workflows.
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts, scopes of work, pricing, and business agreements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, research, and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, markets, and service offerings.
• Develop business cases, service models, workflows, implementation plans, and growth strategies.
• Lead cross-functional projects from opportunity approval through operational readiness.
• Oversee the implementation and refinement of new services, processes, and supporting systems.
• Build relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage, coach, and develop Business Development team members while driving performance and accountability.
