Job summary

Yamaha Precision Propellers seeks a New Business Development Manager to drive growth for investment casting foundry and rotational molding by identifying new customers and expanding into new markets. You will collaborate with engineering, estimating, quality, and operations to evaluate opportunities and secure profitable business.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in technical sales within manufacturing and a track record of developing customer relationships in engineered components

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in manufacturing business development or sales.
• Experience selling engineered castings or precision components is preferred.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time to customer sites and events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new customers requiring precision investment castings.
• Develop target account lists across strategic markets including aerospace, defense, energy, medical, automotive, marine, pumps/valves, and general engineered components.
• Lead RFQ coordination, technical reviews, cost estimates, tooling quotes, and commercial proposals.
• Support new product introductions from award through tooling and first production orders.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reports on pipeline and revenue.
