Job summary

Yamaha Precision Propellers in Greenfield, IN, seeks a Development Engineer to support the Product Development Team for stainless-steel propellers and enhancements to existing products. Ideal candidates have a Mechanical/Materials/Industrial Engineering background and 2+ years in product development; casting experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/related engineering from an accredited university.
• 2+ years in product development within a manufacturing environment; casting experience a plus.
• Experience with dimensional measurement, GD&T, and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through prototype fabrication using industry best practices.
• Maintain project tracking, costs, timing, and regular stakeholder reporting.
