Job summary

Chandler Industries seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth across its precision machining and sheet metal fabrication capabilities. You will develop strategic plans, identify new customers, and strengthen relationships with existing accounts through site visits and regular reviews.

The role requires at least 5 years in contract manufacturing sales, a proven ability to win new business, and willingness to travel up to 25% to meet customers across divisions in Minnesota and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years contract manufacturing services sales to aerospace, defense, industrial, electronics and medical markets.
• 5+ years outside sales experience with OEMs and/or tier I suppliers.
• Existing relationships with major customers in served markets.
• Precision machining and sheet metal fabrication background.
• Willingness to travel 25% and autonomous work attitude.
• Ability to assemble RFQ & RFP responses.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company strategies for high-potential accounts.
• Identify target prospects, decision makers, and buying influences.
• Drive growth by building relationships with new and existing customers through engagement and site visits.
• Meet with prospective customers to understand needs and tailor manufacturing solutions.
• Qualify opportunities based on Chandler's capabilities and strategic fit.
• Solicit RFQ opportunities aligned with capabilities and objectives.
• Support pricing strategies balancing market competitiveness and profitability.
• Maintain accurate account and opportunity information in Epicor.
