Job summary

Yamaha Precision Propellers in Greenfield, IN, is seeking a New Business Development Manager to drive growth in investment casting and molded products. You will identify new customers, expand into new markets, and develop profitable opportunities for our precision components portfolio.

You will collaborate with engineering, estimating, quality, and operations to evaluate quotes, discuss technical requirements, and secure orders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial leadership in a manufacturing environment.
Experience selling engineered components, castings, forgings, machined parts, or similar industrial products.
Willingness to travel approximately 10–20% of the time to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new customers for precision investment castings.
Develop target accounts across aerospace, defense, energy, medical, automotive, and other markets.
Lead RFQs, technical reviews, cost estimates, tooling quotes, and commercial proposals.
Coordinate internally with engineering, estimating, quality, operations, and metallurgy teams to evaluate manufacturability.
