Job summary

Compounding Solutions in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across the New England region and adjacent territories. You will identify new applications for our custom plastic compounds, build relationships with medical device customers, and collaborate with the VP Sales & Marketing to expand market presence.

Required are 5+ years in plastics sales, a bachelor's degree, strong CRM/ERP skills, excellent presentation and negotiation abilities, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.
• 5+ years of sales experience in the plastics or plastics compounding market.
• Must be willing to travel 50% of the time.
• Strong computer skills and understanding of CRM, ERP, and Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent presentation, customer service, prospecting, negotiation and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new applications and industries for our services.
• Expand revenue by developing plans for the territory of New England, NY, NJ, and PA.
• Collaborate with VP Sales & Marketing to improve marketing materials and presence.
• Understand sales pipeline and convert prospects into customers.
• Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for growth.
• Travel within the territory as needed.
