Relate Search is partnering with an established industrial fabrication company to place a Business Development Manager in Freeport, TX. The role focuses on developing new business, building strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence in key industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years of business development, outside sales, account management, or related customer-facing experience.
• Demonstrated success developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development efforts in petrochemical, oil & gas, refining, and industrial manufacturing markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, EPCs, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Serve as trusted advisor by understanding operations, challenges, and fabrication requirements.
• Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of opportunities and expand market presence.
• Partner with estimating, operations, procurement, and project teams to meet customer needs.
• Conduct regular visits and maintain engagement to uncover opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities.
• Participate in networking events to increase visibility and develop relationships.
• Maintain CRM data, pipeline reporting, and forecasting information.
• Provide leadership with market intelligence and customer feedback to support strategy.
