Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Food Care Rollstock portfolio across a defined territory. You will build a robust pipeline, qualify opportunities, and partner with Territory Sales, Marketing, Application Development & Solutions, and Technical Service to deliver value.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in packaging or related field, strong technical and commercial skills, and willingness to travel about 50% overnight.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial growth.
• Strong technical knowledge of packaging, rollstock, flexible packaging, or related manufacturing applications.
• Experience with rollstock materials and/or HFFS and VFFS equipment is preferred.
• Ability to combine technical knowledge with a strong customer-facing and commercial mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to independently build a sales pipeline and open new customer relationships.
• Strong value-selling and negotiation skills, including overcoming pricing objections by communicating customer value.
• Self-starter with persistence to prospect and close new accounts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across multiple levels.
• Willingness to travel ~50% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and develop high-value opportunities across the assigned territory.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline for the Food Care Rollstock portfolio.
• Engage with Territory Sales, Marketing, Application Development & Solutions, and Technical Service to deliver value.
• Own opportunities from prospecting to close, including negotiations.
• Travel to meet customers, support trials, and develop opportunities.
