Ten+ years in construction sales and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred, with strong strategic, territory, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in building/construction industry with proven revenue generation and sales.
• Proven prospecting, closing, sales planning, and territory management experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, conflict resolution, and written/verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify trendsetter ideas by attending industry events, publications, and announcements; track contributors and best practices.
• Pursue sales leads and prospective clients by contacting current potential partners; discover opportunities.
• Screen potential deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluate options; prioritize.
• Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations.
• Negotiate and close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with operations.
• Update job knowledge by education, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Enhance organization reputation by owning new requests and adding value to accomplishments.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
