Job summary

Aegis Aerospace is seeking a VP of Business Development in Webster, TX. This on-site role leads the company’s BD and sales activities, including strategic planning, capture, teaming, marketing, proposals, and budgets.

You will develop an integrated BD capability, manage a team, pursue DoD/NASA space markets, and drive growth aligned with long-term objectives. A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is a plus; Top Secret clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development leadership experience in defense or space markets.
• Ability to develop and execute capture, proposals and budgets.
• Strong presentation and writing skills; able to communicate across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create an integrated sales and BD capability to meet growth objectives.
• Oversee BD process, training, and execution of winning proposals.
• Lead and mentor a BD team, both direct reports and matrixed personnel.
• Identify, capture, win, and phase-in new business aligned with company objectives.
• Manage BD program within budget and align with strategic plan.
• Support marketing, branding, and communications efforts.
