Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA seeks a Manager, Corporate Portfolio and M&A to drive growth of the corporate portfolio through strategic projects, including digital health and emerging technologies. The role involves regular travel to Lake Zurich, IL, with remote work possible.

You will lead due diligence, develop business cases and support board approvals, focusing on nutrition, MedTech and biopharmaceuticals. The role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical/finance field required; MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Business Development, M&A, Strategy and analytics; 3+ years in healthcare.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and their business impact.
• Comfortable in a highly complex, matrix organization; able to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze markets, segments, sectors, companies/assets including startups across Fresenius business areas to identify inorganic growth targets.
• Lead project management with functional leads and cross-functional teams to deliver due diligence, business cases and board approvals.
• Prepare pitch documents to support prioritization of inorganic opportunities.
• Manage internal portfolio analysis and scenario modeling for new business areas and target evaluations.
• Build valuations for target assets using DCF, NPV and precedent analyses.
• Drive strategic projects through identification, evaluation, negotiation and execution.
• Present Fresenius as a preferred partner to external interfaces including consultants and investment banks.
• Leverage market insights to inform strategy and future direction.
