Cardinal Health is seeking a dynamic, results-driven executive to lead Strategy & Business Development for its Specialty segment in Dublin, OH. This senior role shapes enterprise growth, guides a high-performing team, and partners with cross-functional leaders to translate strategic opportunities into measurable value.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Biopharma services, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or strongly preferred for leadership roles in Strategy & BD.
• Master’s degree in business or related area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for Specialty businesses serving pharma manufacturers and providers.
• Develop best-in-class content to support strategic recommendations.
• Anticipate industry evolution and align across the organization.
• Identify gaps and determine capabilities to scale; drive business cases for new initiatives.
• Proactively prospect for strategic opportunities and manage a pipeline.
• Oversee BU M&A processes with Corporate Development.
• Ensure post-integration sustainability of acquisitions.
• Serve as trusted advisor to Specialty leaders on strategy and objectives.
• Hire, coach and develop Strategy & BD team; foster accountability and high performance.
