Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Director, Corporate Strategy to guide enterprise-wide strategic plans and lead cross-functional strategy projects in collaboration with senior leaders.

The role includes evaluating M&A opportunities and presenting recommendations to the Board, reporting to the VP/AVP. The candidate will own project delivery, lead teams, and translate strategy into actionable initiatives while partnering with Corporate Development and key stakeholders across CenterWell, Insurance,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or related strategy function.
• Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of healthcare business models and market dynamics.
• Experience developing enterprise or business-unit strategy with strategic roadmaps and growth plans.
• Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous business problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading consulting-style strategy engagements from problem definition to execution.
• Experience advising and influencing senior executives and presenting strategic recommendations.
• Proven success in leading and developing high-performing teams and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery from problem definition to recommendations and execution.
• Partner with business units to shape long-term strategy and growth priorities.
• Lead teams of 3-5 associates in market analysis, benchmarking, and financial/qualitative analysis.
• Translate strategy into actionable initiatives, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
• Collaborate with Corporate Development on potential M&A and partnerships.
• Manage external relationships with business partners to support strategic priorities.
• Strengthen team capabilities and improve processes within Corporate Strategy.
