Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a Director of Corporate Strategy to guide enterprise-wide strategic plans and oversee cross-functional programs.

You will analyze markets, model scenarios, and present recommendations to senior leadership and the Board, reporting to the VP/AVP. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 5+ years in corporate strategy.
• Healthcare industry experience with knowledge of healthcare business models and dynamics.
• Experience developing enterprise or business-unit strategy, including roadmaps and investment prioritization.
• Ability to structure and solve complex, ambiguous problems using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Experience leading consulting-style strategy engagements from problem definition to execution.
• Advising and influencing senior executives, including presenting to senior leadership, executive teams, and Boards.
• Leading and developing high-performing teams and managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own project delivery from problem definition through analysis, recommendations and execution.
• Serve as a strategic partner to CenterWell, Insurance, Technology/IT, Finance units.
• Lead teams of 3-5 associates in market, industry analyses, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder engagement.
• Translate strategy into action with business cases, initiatives, priorities and timelines.
• Partner with Corporate Development on M&A and external partnerships.
• Manage external relationships with partners to support priorities.
• Strengthen team capabilities and improve operating processes.
