Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction in the United States is seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to identify new business, markets and clients, ensuring profitable growth aligned with AP's goals.

You will lead pursuit teams, build a regional network of clients and COIs, work with marketing on market strategies, and drive ethical, sustainable growth across AP’s core business segments through strategic proposals and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in selling and developing new business; experience with revenues from $5M to $100M+.
• MBA preferred.
• CRM proficiency and consultative selling skills are essential.
• Experience leading complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders, including C-suite.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for safety and promote an Incident and Injury Free culture.
• Develop new business through strategic targets and relationship building.
• Plan and oversee sales processes including strategy development, opportunity pursuit and proposals.
• Provide marketing support for bid packages and market research.
• Other duties as assigned.
