Martin-Harris Construction is seeking a Director of Business Development to drive growth in the Northern Nevada market. The role focuses on building executive-level client relationships, identifying strategic opportunities, and guiding pursuit planning with cross-functional teams including Estimating, Preconstruction, Marketing, and RFP groups.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Business Development, strong CRM and Excel skills, and a proven track record in converting leads to qualified

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Development experience with a track record of selling to private commercial clients in Northern Nevada.
• Experience building and managing a pipeline of sustainable clients to support revenue goals.
• Strong ability to develop executive-level relationships and win strategies.
• Proven ability to forecast and analyze sales performance and go-to-market plans.

Responsibilities

• Drives identification, qualification, and advancement of strategic opportunities aligned with growth objectives.
• Develops executive-level client relationships to strengthen market position.
• Leads pursuit planning and proposal development to position MHC to win.
• Leads market research and competitive intelligence to support growth strategies.
