Job summary

You may travel up to 60% and will partner with leadership to develop plans, target accounts, and win projects through strong relationships and compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in building science, construction management or related field.
• 7–10 years of related experience in the construction industry.
• General knowledge of construction processes including budgeting, scheduling, and project management.
• Knowledge of macro level building cost and high level conceptual estimates.
• Advanced knowledge of RFP response principles and practices.
• Experience with MS Office and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership for all aspects of business development on a day-to-day basis.
• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities to meet revenue goals.
• Develop business plans, growth plans and revenue targets with leadership.
• Coach and mentor staff in a doer-seller environment and nurture client relationships.
• Lead capture planning and drive execution of sales plans.
• Prepare proposals and lead sales meetings, PR, and award submittals.
