Job summary

Scaled Composites, LLC seeks a Director of Business Development and Capture to drive growth initiatives across programs, in close coordination with executive leadership. You will shape market positioning, identify high‑value opportunities, and develop compelling offers to improve win rates in a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

The role requires 10+ years of BD experience (or 8+ with a Master’s), strong leadership, technical writing, and the ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 10 years of related experience, or 8 years with a Master’s.
• Equivalent military or business experience accepted in lieu of formal business development experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development initiatives to identify, shape, and qualify opportunities that support company growth objectives.
• Leverage technical, analytical, and operational expertise to drive high‑impact growth opportunities.
• Support capture and proposal efforts with strategies to deliver strong win probabilities and exceptional capture performance.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry associations, and customer decision-makers.
• Coordinate with Bids and Proposals to ensure cost, schedule, and technical content align with RFP requirements.
