Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 13+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field; higher level degree may substitute for experience.
• Thorough knowledge of business development, capture management, and program management.
• Ability to engage with senior leaders and use DoD acquisition processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and execution of BD initiatives in Aerospace/Defense.
• Oversee high-value opportunity identification and capture activities.
• Build and manage relationships with senior-level clients and stakeholders.
• Direct comprehensive capture strategies to secure major contracts.
• Conduct market assessments and align BD strategy with goals.
• Prepare strategic proposals and presentations for executive clients.
• Mentor the BD team and represent the company at industry events.
