Job summary

Sheraton Bloomington Hotel is seeking a sales-oriented professional to solicit group business and drive revenue across rooms and food & beverage. The role includes outreach to new and existing accounts, site inspections, and collaborative teamwork with hotel departments.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to represent the hotel at community events and industry gatherings. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year applicable sales experience required.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication.
• Prepare correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance.
• Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings and develop market knowledge.
• Work with other hotel departments to provide quality service to customers and maintain guest satisfaction.
