Job summary

The Sheraton Duluth Hotel is seeking a Sales Manager to drive hotel sales, grow banquet, catering, and room revenues, and build lasting client relationships. You will partner with management to execute sales strategies, manage client engagements, and ensure top-tier service aligned with brand standards.

You will lead efforts to expand key demographics, monitor market trends, and coordinate with F&B and operations to maximize profitability, while supporting the sales team through the full cycle

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales experience.
• Proven guest services scores and brand experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn and analyze profit and loss statements and assist with annual budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist DOSM and F&B Manager with annual catering and revenue goals.
• Support in F&B operations for events.
• Drive sales through marketing strategies and prospecting for new business.
• Develop and implement new sales initiatives and programs.
• Maintain sales projections and revenue mix to maximize profitability.
• Communicate client needs to operations and provide follow-up to encourage repeat business.
