Job summary

Paloma Resorts is seeking a Senior Group Sales Manager for Destination Geneva National in Lake Geneva, WI. The role targets corporate, association, and SMERF groups to drive non‑peak bookings and banquet revenue.

You will lead strategic sales plans, identify clients, and foster long‑term relationships while collaborating with marketing and operations to deliver exceptional events and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably hospitality-focused with group business.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue growth.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel and ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting corporate, association, and SMERF groups.
• Identify and prospect potential clients, including corporations, associations, and organizations.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with existing clients for repeat bookings.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, materials, website updates, and third‑party representation.
• Conduct site tours and presentations to showcase resort facilities and services.
• Represent the property at trade shows and host FAM trips for planners.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients for favorable terms.
• Coordinate with banquet services, catering, and reservations for seamless events.
• Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and pipeline forecasts.
