Qualifications

  • Required Education: Bachelor's Degree. Preferred Education: Master's Degree.
  • Required Experience: 3+ years in academic or office administration including grant budget development; experience managing creative teams.
  • Preferred Experience: 3+ years in academic environment and/or games industry position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer strategic programs, grants, partnerships, and academic partnerships for the NYU Game Center to support department goals.
  • Oversee operational and reporting functions for the CoE, industry-related grants and scholarships, NASAD and Princeton Review reporting, and other sponsored initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of the department’s grant portfolio, including renewals, reporting requirements, financial activity, and sponsor compliance.
  • Serve as liaison with Office of Sponsored Programs, government agencies, foundations and sponsors to interpret requirements, resolve grant issues, and ensure stewardship of funds.
  • Lead and support departmental programs and outreach initiatives, including high school programming, student career development, internship administration, incubator support, public events, and communications strategy.
