Job summary

Building Bridges Across the River in Washington, DC, seeks a Manager of Institutional Giving to advance its grant program and secure funding from foundations, corporations and government partners.

You will write proposals, renewals and reports, monitor federal contracts, manage grant budgets, track progress toward fundraising goals, and cultivate relationships with donors, working closely with the Development, Program and Senior Leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of direct fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling grant and sponsorship proposals, renewals, reports, and inquiries for programming and operating expenses.
• Monitor federal grant contracts for regulation and compliance; coordinate quarterly and annual reporting.
• Manage grant tracking; ensure timely submissions, compliance, and reporting; develop budgets with program staff.
