Job summary

The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is seeking a Grants Program Manager to promote consistent grant administration and effective stewardship of resources while maintaining proper segregation of duties between program, grant-administration, and financial responsibilities.

The role coordinates agency-wide management of Federal, State, and other grant-funded programs and serves as a central resource for Grant Project Managers, the Business Office, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related program experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and State grant administration requirements.
• Experience coordinating grants across lifecycle from application to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate agency-wide grants administration throughout the grant lifecycle.
• Serve as primary grant-administration liaison for Grant Project Managers and Business Office.
• Monitor grant awards for compliance and performance; maintain tracking tools.
• Coordinate Federal and State grant audits, monitoring reviews, and other oversight activities.
• Research and evaluate grant opportunities that support agency priorities and coordinate submission of applications.
• Coordinate grant-related financial information and monitor expenditures and draw activity.
• Develop and maintain agency-wide grant-management practices and training.
