Job summary

Beaufort County Government seeks a Grants Compliance and Administration Manager to oversee lifecycle, administration, and financial management of federal, state, and other grant programs. You’ll work with departments, prepare grant documents, and coordinate awards while ensuring compliance and accurate accounting of funds.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years and up to eight years of grant management or related experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in grants administration, compliance, budgeting, or governmental financial management.

Responsibilities

• Researches availability of grant funds for county projects.
• Directs preparation of grant documents and assists departments with grant applications.
• Meets with county department heads to determine program and funding needs met through grants.
• Prepares and presents for council.
• Coordinates grant awards and related accounting duties for monitoring funds.
• Works with finance team to track, deposit, and audit grant monies.
