Ascent Global Logistics is seeking an Account Manager to oversee import/export brokerage and freight forwarding for assigned customers. You will analyze options, coordinate with internal teams, ensure compliance, and deliver exceptional service from quote through delivery.

The role requires 3-5 years of industry experience, strong communication, and knowledge of customs regulations. Travel to client sites may be required; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years industry experience required.
• Experience in import/export brokerage and freight forwarding preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze options and recommend best routing and carrier options.
• Familiarity with Federal Maritime Commission and U.S. Customs regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage customers' import/export brokerage and freight forwarding needs.
• Request and analyze shipping options; recommend best route based on price, time, and requirements.
• Monitor shipment lifecycle from loading to final delivery; resolve issues.
• Prepare and execute documents for U.S. Customs and other agencies.
• Quote rates with internal team; ensure accurate billing.
