Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Commercial and Investment Banking Events Management Associate to deliver world-class events for clients and prospects within Global Banking.

You will collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Creative Services, Digital, and Communications teams to execute events in private meeting spaces and external venues. You will oversee budgets, vendor relations, and calendar planning while contributing strategic input and ensuring timely data entry in Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years of event planning, project management, business management or corporate communications in a client-facing role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to deliver messages clearly and succinctly
• Demonstrated ability to write announcements, invitations and letters
• Expertise with Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and presentations
• Ability to manage projects across businesses, functions and locations
• Highly organized, detail oriented, proactive, and professional
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work with urgency
• Demonstrates leadership, discretion, efficiency, and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Support client engagement initiatives across CIB sectors
• Negotiate and manage vendor contracts for events
• Plan for high-profile customer events including budgeting and venue selection
• Provide strategic input to planning partners across CIB events
• Maintain the client event calendar and ensure accuracy in Confluence
• Collaborate with CIB Marketing and related teams on larger projects
• Support systems used by the team (Confluence, Workfront, GlobalMeet, Stova)
• Develop and reconcile event budgets and manage spend
• Create invitations, graphics, and client-facing materials with Creative Services
• Lead project teams and identify process improvements
• Maintain budgets and track data across systems in a timely way
