Holiday Inn Express - Flowood is seeking a General Manager to oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the local hotel unit. You will formulate strategy, manage people and set policies to drive profitability.

As a thoughtful leader and decisive decision-maker, you will help our team develop and perform at a high level while ensuring steady growth and adherence to brand standards. The role requires overseeing recruitment, training and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager or similar executive role.
• Experience in planning and budgeting.
• Knowledge of business processes (finance, HR, procurement, operations).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations.
• Design strategy and set goals for growth.
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
• Set policies and processes.
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
• Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
