Trustly, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to own general ledger accounting and financial reporting for entities in the Americas. The role requires deep US GAAP expertise and hands-on close leadership, partnering with auditors and cross-functional finance teams.

You will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, and drive process improvements across the accounting function in a fast-paced, international environment.

Competenze

• 3+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally with public accounting background (Big 4 or national firm).
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge is a plus given global reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing or supporting external audits.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite preferred) and strong Excel skills.

Mansioni

• Month-End and Year-End Close: Own the accurate and timely month-end and year-end close for assigned entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• General Ledger Accounting: Maintain the general ledger with proper classification and support per US GAAP.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare/review financial statements and management reports per US GAAP (IFRS at Group level when applicable).
• Audit Management: Act as main contact for external auditors, prepare audit schedules, respond to requests, ensure smooth audits.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and controls; support SOX/regulatory requirements.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analytical reviews, resolve discrepancies.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and close efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Tax, Treasury, FP&A and other teams on accounting matters.
