Job summary

The United Nations Foundation is seeking a Director of Development and Partnerships to lead UNA-USA’s fundraising, donor relations, and partnership strategy, supporting long-term sustainability and mission impact.

The role builds a pipeline of donors and partners, designs multi-year fundraising plans, oversees campaigns, grants, and events, and coordinates proposals and reporting across UNA-USA and UN Foundation teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, international relations, nonprofit management, business, communications, philanthropy, or related field.
• Ten+ years of demonstrated fundraising and donor relations experience.
• Experience cultivating relationships with donors, funders, sponsors, foundations, or corporate partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop multi-year fundraising plans to meet revenue targets.
• Lead annual funds, major gifts, grants, and campaigns.
• Build relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Coordinate proposals, sponsorships, and partner communications.
